Its Been a While

So its been a while since I posted last. Was in Texas for a couple of weeks. People there are really friendly and helpful. Definitely a bit more realxed pace of life as compared to So Cal....

We are trying to get more beer shirts and are listening your requests. Its getting harder to find the classic shirts... The breweries apparently are pulling their licensing back thus getting offcially licensed gear is tough. Must be some sort of master plan that is way over my head!

We do have some other fun shirts. I never watched "its always sunny in philadelphia" before bringing those shirts to the site. Thats a great show. Huge fan now. Curb is still favorite. Need to find some Bored to Death shirts.

My last post was about seeking designs for a new line of shirts. If you got any ideas send them in. You'll make some money on the shirts.

A Call for Artists

We thought we try to run a contest and see what kind of thought provoking message or design we could get you out there to submit so we could put it on a high quality screen printed tee shirt. Maybe something like message of the month?? Any topic will be considered. Beer philosophy, politcal viewpoints, lifestyle statements, sports, humor, anything that your passionate about. Since this is our first contest we are going to establish the rules as we go along. This won't be some cheap tee shirt design contest but rather a first of many contests meant to stimulate conversation.

Its not meant to be soapbox to inflict pain in anyway to any group of people so don't bother going down that road. Any view can be expressed without doing that...

The wining design or message will get a royalty off each shirt that is sold with the design or message. As the designs are submitted they will be posted and voted on by you. The winning artist will assist in setting the retail price of the shirt, and can participate in future contests.

Realize the design can be geared for men's tee shirts, ladies tee shirts, or both. Its up to you. Any style is open as in retro tee shirts, vintage tee shirts, modern tee shirts, whatever you feel conveys the message you want to send.

We don't want to set any kind of parameters or paths for the submittals. As we approach the holiday season though we like to what kind of message will bubble up. As this is the first of expected many contests be patient with us. The goal is to stimulate thought and discussion.

P.S.
I find it amazing that "New York T Shirts" gets 25 million google searches a month in the US alone.

Sudsgear now has Hemp shirts! We are starting off with a limited offering and will expand the product line as we find quality merchandise. Why hemp shirts? Well below are some key facts about why hemp is a great natural fiber for products subject to frequent wear and tear.

4 Hour Work Week??

Has anyone been successful at truly applying the principles of Tim Ferris's book the "4 hour work week"? I don't have a copy of the book but have been told so many times the principles and themes outlined in it that I've felt I've read it.

How about this? We have a number of less than perfect items (shirts with smudges, or that were display items) and we will trade for a copy of the book. If you're interested let us know and we will email a list. We'll make it worth your while!

Its official, www.Sudsgear.com now has over 1,500 items (1502 to be exact). At the beginning of September we had 193. Help us help you. Tell us what we are missing and we will find it. Right now we are looking for Chimay glasses, Piraat T's, Falstaff (anything), and primo gear. Primo Beer, they post constantly on FB and Twitter yet we can't get a response...

The keystone security T is not available. We just don't understand why... Keystone won't give us the permission to make the shirt. Well, We say Karma is a ...

Getting back to 4HWW, I've been up since 4 working. That means I gotten 12 weeks of work done in 1 day. Wow. that's productive.

Well, to end this. The past 2 months have been nothing but seven days a week working. Come November I'm looking forward to getting back to playing rugby. You meet the best people on the field....
